The Power of the Tongue

"Women can resist a man's love, a man's fame, a man's personal appearance, and a man's money, but they cannot resist a man's tongue when he knows how to talk to them."
----Wilkie Collins, The Woman in White

At last! Miss Willi reveals the secret passageway to her heart!

Venturers through my superior and inferior vena cavas beware! The passageway is dark, slippery, and probably obstructed by fatty deposits. Do remind the hordes that quantity of noise is no replacement for quality of conversation, Brianna. (Incidently, the man who inspired the quote was the corrupt, cunning, and corpulent Count Fosco, really the best-drawn characer in the book).
