We got an email from my piano teacher in Puerto Rico that her Great Dane, Tux, died this week.
We used to babysit Tux when Betsy went to the States. We had to remove all knick knacks at least four feet off the ground to avoid his tail. He was large, timid, and docile. I always suspected he had a dry sense of humor. If we took him on a long walk and he got tired, he would just sit down and not move until we got the car. He liked going to the beach but he was afraid of the water. We once timed him pee for three minutes.
